Notice how the job losses follow the real estate bubble. Florida and CA got killed.

Things are still going fairly well in Texas. We are having the usual recession-in flux from the rest of the country, they bring their money, spend it, then go back home after they don't find a job or find out it hits 110 in the shade for six months at a time.

Most on the east coast. The next wave will come when all the people who have purchased inexpensive homes get hit with hefty property taxes after the economy stabilzes raising poperty values and homes go into forclosure because they can't pay the taxes....

That's like the stores that insist on going toe-to-toe with Wal*Mart. No sympathy there. See what they are doing? Find something else where they cannot do and do it well. Keep moving or die. Dinosaurs couldn't adapt to the new paradigm (climate change) and so they became oil.

And still in the red, personally I don't think it would be as bad if they cut unemployment benefits the so called out of work workers spent the fall hunting, fishing and campaigning for BO and now they are getting ready for a nice summer..****** insane if you ask me. Why would they find another job if they can suck the tit for a year or two?

Texas looked very good until Oct 08, but even then it still looks good compared to the rest of the country. Yeah Texas again!
