Manny Being Manny

Leave it to the hot streakin' LA Dodgers & Manny to divert attention from A-Rod's rumored return to the NYY tomorrow at Camden Yards.

BTW, the alleged drug that Manny tested positive for may have been a post-steroid cycle drug called Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin, or hCG.

hCG helps a player re-establish normal testosterone production after extensive steroid use. It also helps combat testiclular atrophy.

Not quite the idea of Torre's strategy of playing "small ball"

At least he's not pissing under the bleachers at Fenway anymore.

Can we eliminate the phrase, "Manny being Manny" from the sports vocabulary?

The Yankee haircut rule was likely a deal-breaker.

I agree. The saying seems to be another way of saying Manny being a Jerk. I never found is so-called quirky behavior very interesting, funny, or imaginative. He seems to have some good qualities, but the way he treated the Sox was just ridiculous.

On the other hand, as a Yankees fan, I was glad to see him go to the other league.
