So it was your fault totally and you want someone else to pay for it?

1. You should have wiped it off right away.
2. You should have had HIM wipe it off right away
3. You should get a better sort of friend than one that does this.

This is absolutely nuts... Do these social engineering types really think that banning a harmless game can affect human behavior?
Next thing they will make all Germans dress in bubble-wrap to minimize getting hurt if they fall down...

There isn't a hope in hell of something like that passing in the US and you know it.

I understand how something like this would be an affront to the sense of freedom that most Americans have, and that's perfectly fine. But freedom cuts both ways. Aren't Germans equally free to live in a country that passes laws like this? They do have a democracy there - the moment the electorate has a problem with it, they can just vote another party in. That's how democracy - and freedom - work.

I agree with jlomon that it is unlikely to occur here, and that they have the right there to do this. I also agree with those of you who think that this is a silly symbolism that will do no good. I hope for the Germans that they do not actually go quite this far.

Marker guns are not nearly as bad of a problem as violent video games, if you ask me. The real guns do not lead to quite as much of a divorce from reality.

Thats what they said about drilling for natural gas in Colorado about a year ago. They were wrong. I even got yelled at when I suggested it in a friendly conversation. The only real money to be made in that business now is to move them out of state. (drill rigs that is)

Where did you get the idea that any american gives a good god gamn what goes on in Germany except to point out that many of those liberal nanny feel good bonehead types live here and would love to do something like that in this country. And you know it.
