They do like rides.
I stop in at Jimmy Cone every once in a while & give our 4'ls a special kiddie cup vanilla treat. They love it!

Brewsters

There is a small ice cream chain named Brewsters around here. They have specific doggy ice cream - like the frosty paws you can get in the grocery store. I think they give it out free or very cheap.

I had a recent road trip and ended up taking our little pooch along. We "shared" some bacon egg and cheese biscuit for breakfast. Now he is a traveling buddy, always ready to go. Here he is riding "shotgun" in our van.

Happy Dog Day.

My pooch is going for a ride in the G500 tomorrow.... It will be fun to drive her around. Cleaning it up is a PITA!

Just put a big blanket down, saves the clean-up. That's what I do if I put my cat in the car.

My dog doesn't shed, so there's not really anything to clean if he rides in the car. He sat in my wife's lap to/from a walking trail we drove to in the 300E today.

Something's wrong with the picture- Austin isn't circling the wagon.

they learn quick

"Something's wrong with the picture- Austin isn't circling the wagon. "

That reminds me of a funny story. Years ago we had a very nice Golden Retriever. We offered to breed him with a friend's dog. He was about 4 and had never been "close" with a female. My buddy's dog goes into heat. He comes by to pick up Molson ( his registered name). Molson isn't real excited to go for ride. Eventually we get him in the car and over to meet his date. Well she isn't quite ready and he is still clueless. At least he gets a ride back home.

Next day, my buddy comes by and picks us up again. This time all goes as planned and we return home.

Part of dog breeding is trying a couple of times to make sure you don't miss things by a day. The third time my buddy comes over... Molson barks at the door, runs outside, circles his car 3 times and barks at the door. He really liked to ride in the car from then on....

Chuck

I like how the owner spent time and money on a rubber mat, for their front paws to lay on

Yea, I noticed it was missing last night and reported it stolen. I told the police it may be in Frederick, Maryland.
