I'm on a roll!

Puck Fublix... yes.. I have already yelled death to burger king, and now.. Puck Fublix(reverse the two front letters)...

My job blows royal ass cakes.. I am getting 5 hours a week.. yes 5. My manager has told me that hours are short and there isnt enough to go around.. Well, ok.. I have 5, Ashley the brit has 5, Tim has 6.. and Louis the former manager now part-timer, has...... ****ing 28

duck that slanging bitty ducker shiz.. Seriously? Do you guys see something wrong here? Louis used to be the grocery manager at my store 3 years ago.. then he quit.. he came back last month part time at night and wow have mine and everyone elses hours suffered. They are getting manager work for part timer pay.

Plus, I think my manager is playing favorites since Louis is vertically challenged too. My manager is like.. 5'4.. I'm 5'11.. So he has to look up to me!.. *****

Plus I did get a raise.. woo $10 an hour now... I worked hard for it, I've been there 4.5 ****ing years and have busted my arse working in every department, helping where I can, coming in on my days off, even working for two weeks straight with no days off... That and I put up with everyones crap.

Plus the never ending mispronunciation of my last name on purpose... Its Grah-vell, not grah-val, or grah-velly, or grah-vealley.. **** you managers... Its not funny, its a sign of disrespect yet I still say yes sir, no ma'am

and they wonder why post office workers go postal.. I'm going publix!

sorry guys.. I hate my job and I hate my managers..

I would like to add a disclaimer

**Don should never be taken seriously at 1 am**

that is all

You can get a better job than working for those clowns. Maybe find a job where you can actually learn something useful. Heck, you're asst. manager material at any convenience store already, couple months, you would be running the place. Or, go to your boss' boss and ask for promotion to another department with more responsibility.

Maybe Burger King.......

Really wtf are you doing there? Maybe they feel comfortable with Louis so they give him 28 hours.

Sounds like Lewis had a great interview. Maybe you should ask where the casting couch is.

But seriously. Don't quit; but start looking for a 2nd job.

Or you could choose a more Machiavellian approach by getting one of your co-workers fired and taking their hours....

Great decision. I should think that the store could find you a different position that utilizes your experience and intelligence. Go right around your boss to the next level, if they get pissy, who needs 'em anyhow? What do you have to lose - $50/week

Do you think a hundred or so personal references from shopforum would help?

F*cking typical passive aggresive method of cutting staff.

I had a boss do that all the time. You wanna get rid of someone just cut their hours or quietly switch their schedule to nights.

I remember making $56/week at a drug store while in college. The year was 1986, I was working 20 hours a week and made about $3.35/hour. Now I usually make more in an hour than I did all week at that store! Boy, times have changed!

But you've made the right decision to be in school. Just keep up the hard work and it'll pay off.

What you really need is some freedom. A place where you can disassemble cars without the HOA getting in your way, and a job where your either your own boss or where you get minimal interference from them....

This would be a good side business for you young man, get a entry level sign plotter and make vinyl graphics for your friends, I make about $1500 an month on the side making vinyl graphics for young folks. about $2000 will get you up and running.

it would be nice but that market is seriously corned in my area.. I can drive like .5 miles to the going postal store and they do basic vinyl plotting and junk

thinking about ordering one of these and putting it in the store managers office since just about every manager is always in there either talking to her or using the computer to "read emails" for countless hours..
