Nice!

As said above they come with an LSD rear end from the factory, so you can look forward to your first four figure repair bill. Thats a 6.9 for you.

Have fun with it.

I can attest to that. I put about 8 gallons in it on Saturday, and it was empty again before the end of the day after about 75 miles or so.

Its all about the smiles per hour with this car anyway. It is an absolute blast. My father is a big muscle car fan, which has somewhat rubbed off on me, and this car would be the hybrid of both facets. Just the 2 days driving it around I got more attention than I ever thought I would get. Car guys know what that 6.9 badge means apparently.

I also discovered that since my car is a very early VIN #0521, which literally means the 521st production car. Apparently the early ones had even less restrictive emissions and higher than the average power estimates.

Oh, so the diff is special too, huh? This is a learning experience for me.

Seriously, you guys are acting like the diff is going to explode the next time I drive it. I seriously doubt that unless I do burnouts on a daily basis for a year am I going to have to think about it. I'm not going to rack up miles on a low mileage car, and the gas mileage makes it completely impractical for daily use as well.

It's only special to people who think it's special. Like me.

They are a rare find. I almost had one in my hands if diametricalbenz didn't let it slip away. j/k jj

You can easily drive in that condition for 200,000 miles if your just toting around. So your fine.

So you grew up and became condescending person who cuts people down to feel better about them self? Mercedes is my hobby, and I have no others. I don't drink, I don't dine out much, I'm unattached, and work hard. If I don't enjoy cars like these now, I probably never will.

B.T.W, I made money on every Mercedes in the previous list of my signature, the W124 being the only exception. I broke even.

I am cutting people down? I am certainly not a condescending person, so I wonder why you are so easily affected by my rather insignificant comment. I guess, it is a matter of perspective.

No, Mercedes or any other car for that matter is not a hobby to me, it's a means of transportation and each one of mine better takes me to where I have to go.
If they start jamming up my driveway or worse, turn me into a servant rather than serving me, I am more likely to part with them. Pronto.

Guess I misread your intentions. There's just too many trollers in OD making posts to feel better about themselves. The fact that you said I grew out of this behavior suggests it is a bad one I understand now that we just look at car ownership differently.

I should go to sleep now since I'm getting cranky. I do get carried away sometimes, I apologize.
