Mudflaps

Hey Everybody, Anybody know what a good source for MB mudflaps is.I need a set for a 96 E300 D. Thanks

Save a bit of money and install them yourself...if they are OEM, no drilling would be required.

Wouldn't think the job would be too hard?

Thanks for the reminder! After reading this I ordered a 2 sets of mud flaps (front and rear) for my ’92 400E from Clair Parts, 1-800-354-5100. The cost is about $60 + shipping. I previously installed 2 sets on my 300TE in about 5 minutes per corner. They are made for the vehicle and essentially clamp on.

Regards,

The best laid plans…

As a follow up, I received the mud flaps, installed them with only about 1.5 hours worth of hed-ache, only to find that the G&^%$#mn front flaps rubbed due to the wide 16” tire wheel combo on the 400. Oops! The back flaps work and look fine. So, anyone want a set of factory front mud flaps for a w124 or w210?? They have about 9 miles of use on part of one dry day…

Do the flaps follow the contour of the fender lip WITH the lower quarter plastic cladding? That is what has kept me from putting any on my W124...

G

Mostly, yes they do. The bottom of the flaps flair out a bit. I can send you a couple of pix if you give me an address. I tried to post here but don’t know how to save the pix so as to require few enough bytes to fit the board’s requirements.

Hi Tracy- I'd be interested in the W124 mudflaps...

I have a couple of long road trips planned this December in my W124s and if they are easy on/ easy off, it'll be a nice insurance policy///

let me know what you're asking for them!
