Unhappy Sold my '90 Smoke Silver 560SEC last night (pic's included.)

I really didn't need to have two of them. I did drive it 2600 miles in the month I owned it.

It was truly a lovely, low mileage, (89k) box stock, unwrecked and unrusted, Southern California car, with all books and records, even the tools and first aid kit, and whose 2 female owners lived in Malibu, and the first one, a 93 y o lady, in Newport Beach, where the car was sold new to her.

Except for the long scratch on the passenger door, it is in mint condition, basically, after I detailed it and cleaned it. The buyer got an excellent car, and after a month I did get the same price I paid for it, ( $6800 )..

If it's well kept up, from now on, I would enjoy buying it back if my pearl black one got totalled. But the buyer really likes it. It needs nothing, except the console box fixed.

Day I bought it at the Jaguar dealer last month in Ventura Calif:

What it looked like at the Jaguar/Land Rover dealer
before being detailed.

Full service and updating recently. Pronounced a good car by Enrique at MR MB in Tarzana.

Last time I can say both of these are mine to enjoy.

But I am focusing more on this one now though. With the AMG headers and downpipes, first gear start, dual exhaust into the Remus (and the dual kidney bean resonators, now gone from it), and eibachs, it's a screamer. Rude and noisy, it really roars when you floor it.

The Smoke is totally stock, so it's quieter, slower and smoother and leans hard in spirited cornering, with standard US cats, stock height and tire size.
But it makes a wonderful GT cruiser.

This black one is becoming a bad boy street racer. It's really loud and quick now. It seems to be getting a lot of attention whenever it's parked. Racking up miles like mad, as I go to SO Cal just about every week now. The Santa Barbara thing on the coast and Danish village of Solvang later, today.

Wish I could have taken the silver one off your hands...around here, folks are asking more than that and the condition is nowhere near the one you cleaned up!

Blackie is lookin good though...

Practical minds prevail. That was a good car, Jim; why did you buy it then?
