Oddest object that you've seen on the highways?

What are some of the craziest things you have seen just laying in the middle of the roadway.....
(Inspired by)
Watched a woman break her windshield today at Sams Club....and another story....

Hands down for me was a full 3 seat couch right in the middle lane of route 9 last year. I defiantly called the cops the second I saw that one.

Herd of cattle escaped from an overturned semi. Nothing quite as funny as watching a State Trooper trying to coax cows away from I-75.

That reminds me of the usual 18 wheeler getting its trailer ripped apart when they hit the bridges on the Merit Parkway...

A giant inflatable Dilbert head that had escaped from a park and landed in the middle of I-75 just south of Flint in 1999

My uncle got this picture with his phone. He was driving on a road alongside the highway when he saw the smoke and flames. He pulled over and walked through the woods to get a front row seat.

Thats the second truck accident in a week in that spot.

I'm glad I provide inspiration.

Hmm....oddest thing I've seen.....my wife contributes here, she saw and old woman walking along the highway in mint-green pants, who had obviously pooped her pants. She also saw a geo metro being tailgated by a semi at about 70mph, and the guy in the metro just had his arm out the window, with middle finger activated.

I've seen a pickup driving along at high speed that had the whole chassis bent out of shape, the guy was inside with the steering wheel turned left to keep the truck in a straight line. I'd say the truck was off by about 40 degrees between the front and rear wheels. The guy had a huge beard.

Well this one actually ended up involving me lol

I was driving on the CA 10 East right next to the fast lane, a red corvette came up to me and was pacing, he sped up just to where his passenger door was lined up with my hood. Well I start seeing his rear right tire wobbling and slowly slide off of his rim and come right at me, I floored my 300E to speed up and dodge it but the tire hit my rear drivers door and made a loud "THUD" and "KLUNK" noise, I looked in my rear view mirror to see the tire rolling down the freeway behind me. The Corvette pulled over with no tire on a new looking chrome rim...ouch

When I got home the car was fine but I had a huge rubber mark on my rear drivers door lol

Seen personally by me:

1. A toilet.
2. A sofa w/cushions
3. A bolt of lightning
4. A tractor/trailer wheel, which (may) have bounced entirely over my car (I ducked)

Not seen by me but I know to be true:

1. A high-tension line across I-85 in Atlanta (happened 3 miles ahead of me, traffic stopped for hours)
2. (Also in Atlanta): Beanie Babies, which nearly caused a human catastrophe as people got out of their cars and scrambled for them.

I forgot about this: I had an entire truck tailgate come off of a pickup in front of the 560SL. I frantically beeped at the guy because I saw that it was coming off but then I had to fall back a long distance. It must have slid 500 feet.
