Mice!

How do they get into a Mercedes Benz? I thought I had all the holes the dealer neglected at PDI plugged, but I still have turds under the rear seat of my '95 E 320 wagon. I plugged the 4 holes used to hold the car down during shipping, plus some others under the hood that might be an entrance. I looked over the car while it was on the lift today and can't find any other places, but I obviously have missed at least one. Has anyone found others?

Use copper scrubby pads in things like the A/C intake and exhaust.

Mice will eat through steel wool!

I fairly sure the mice are not getting in through the exhaust, and the screens on the A/C are intact so that's not an entrance. I am going to put some of the copper stuff in the drains for the A/C.

Well, I have been living in your trunk for years.

Howdy Chas H,
Maybe they are already in the car.

Well that would explain the turds under the seat. Unless CLK man left them.

Get the traps with the yellow plastic paddle. They will run right over them. End of story.

This one:

No bait needed.

I don't want to trap the buggers; I want to keep them out of the car. It's ridiculous that a mouse can break into a Benz.

Small mice can pretty much get through any very small opening. Very small.....
Just pulled this out yesterday:

I know that. Designers at Benz don't.
So were do they get in? I mean, I never had mice in my other cars, just my perfect Benz.

That means you aren't driving your cars fast or often enough!! LOL

Did you leave your keys lying around?

You can't keep a mouse out of a car. They can crawl through a 1/4" sq hole.

Best you can do is park it some place less exposed if you live in the country or put food out under the neighbors cars if you live in town.
