Memorial Day Thanks

From a humble and greatful MB guy to all the veterans on this forum. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Our world is a better place because of you. I raise a glass in your honor, and to those who did not make it home.
May your MB's serve you as well as you have served us,

God speed

Thanks MP...those are kind words.

Let's have another round for the fallen, the ones who gave all and aren't here with us today.

Sounds good; to the fallen may they rest in eternal peace.

As my dad would say they are on eternal patrol.

Thanks very much, Vets!

The rest of us owe you.

At the 500 on sunday there was a parade of vets in uniform which went by and received a good ten minutes solid of standing ovation applause. There must have been thirty pickups and such with them staning in back.

I am glad others have responded as well, I am too young to be a vietnam vet and never did the "sign up" thing to go to iraq or iran, but many of my friends did, I take time to thank them every memorial day and vetrerans day, my buddies made it back , which is a blessing, many did not as we all know.
I particularly try to reach out to the viet nam vets, they surely had a tough go , I am proud of them, so many have been forgotten, and we must not let that happen
