Car emergency war chest
So fess up who has all sorts of parts stashed away for their car "if" something goes wrong? I have 2 1985 300D so mine goes as follows
2 voltage regulators all various belts and hose sizes including injector return lines fuel filters and oil filters 5 spare glow plugs spare glow plug wires 5 spare injectors (just incase a rebuild of them is needed) all fluids and all sorts of beautification products (meguiars or mothers only) wax, wash, tireshine, chrome cleaner.... |

Without the tools there, not much can be done!

Before the wildfire took it away, I had a complete spare drivetrain for my 78 Blazer - engine/trans/transfer case/front and rear axles(housing and all) and driveshafts (two sets actually). As well as an extra door, hard top, and tailgate.
Now I only keep filters and fluids.

At one time my VW bus had a whole extra longblock, carb gasket kit, plugs, wires, cap/rotor and a fan belt.

lets see here currently in my trunk: warning triangle, oil,coolant tools trash, ciggarette butts, jack, lug bolts for spare, more trash, yada yada yada. not sure if anything but maybe a half smoked ciggarette butt will help me in case of a roadside breakdown.
