In need of a new steering rack
When my Volvo 780 comes out of the body shop I have to replace the steering rack. I know Jorgen sells rebuild racks but I find one cheaper at Autozone rebuild by Atsco in Arizona, has anyone experience with this brand?

I don't really like to buy any rebuilt parts of that kind of importance from autozone, napa, oreily whatever......I don't have good luck with alternators or starters. So I would think this would be one of those things to pay more initially for and save in the long run but that is my .02 worth.

how bad will replacing it be if it's not a good one? Combined with alignment cost, might not be a place to skimp... Never had problems with rebuilts before though, but, there's always a chance. Check the condition of all threads. Not sure what items are wear items other then a few seals, how can that be screwed up at a rebuilding shop?
