Funny how you guys seem to quit caring about the kids as soon as they come out of the womb. Where is you passion for all the impoverished, homeless, and abandoned children that come from these unplanned pregnancies? Wouldn't it be more productive for you pro-lifers to make abortions unnecessary, rather than banning them altogether? Face it, Roe V. Wade IS THE LAW OF THE LAND. Work within the law to set up a support and education system to minimize abortions. It certainly sounds more Christian to me than malicious protesting, harassment, and wishing harm on others that oppose you. Or is that too much work for the armchair quarterbacks of the forum land, who quote religious scripture to justify a man getting shot execution style while going to church.

Sad. I don't think it makes sense to blame this hatred and violence on religion or Christianity. He was gunned down in a Christian church. There are lots of pro-choice Christians. There's not a single sentence in the Christian bible that has the word 'abortion' in it. The penalties for inadvertently causing a miscarriage in Jewish law seem to indicate that the fetus is not considered the equal of a born child. For me, we need to look elsewhere for the cause beyond 'religion'. Watch the documentary, Lake of Fire. It details the history of murdering doctors who perform abortions. The common thread that I see in that wing of the anti-abortion movement is a group of people who are strongly committed to the power of men over women. They are patriarchs in the extreme and the idea that women will control reproduction independent of men is a serious threat to male domination. It is not unusual for them to think that a male rapist's right to reproduce via the womb of the woman he raped supercedes the right of the woman who was raped to terminate the pregnancy.

What about the thousands of lives he also saved? Many women came from across the country to seek late term abortions because some medical issue meant child birth would likely be suicide.

What about this man's wife, 4 children, and 10 grandchildren?
