In your very first post, you said the electric bill was high after the A/C was replaced. I don't know why you think it's anything else but the new A/C causing the increase in your bill.

No they have not, I called and asked. I assumed as it seems to be turning out, incorrectly, that if I got a new hiegh efficiency unit, that IT would not be the problem.
The ac guy was out here last week and he needs to come back and check again when it is hot outside to properly check the pressures in the system. It was raining and he claims that the reading need to be checked under a load.
I would have have never changed my ac had I thought it would cost me more. The other unit could have been repaired by replacing the air handler. I figured after 12 years it was time to go new high efficiency.
