My wife's new webpage - interior design

Guys - this is going to sound kooky but I am pretty proud of my wife. She is a professional interior designer and ole husband finally put together a very simple webpage with a couple of her projects (and I know absolutely nothing about creating a webpage). I know that none of the guys will be interested but some of the wives might get an idea or two from her pictures. It is www.taylorandtaylorinteriors.net.

Very nice... I really like the second set (AND I AM A GUY!). The interiors look like the ones in my house in New Paltz. Where did she get the chandelier? I was lucky to have two similar ones already in the house when I bought it...

Very nice website. Not my style of decoration but hey, those folks have the money to do it that way and more power to them.

The thoroughness of the interior work was very impressive!

LUVMBDIESELS - Peggy said it came from Decorative Crafts in NYC.

Thank you and Walgamuth for the nice comments.

Nice work, the locals around here that visit our house always tells Vickie that she should do what your wife does for a living. :D

Just some critique from a "prof" eye: try to get more appealing images, they are all a bit cluttered and some are to dark to see the "design" of the room.

Maybe some wider shots and some images of specific details like fabrics, wall paper or just a nice item. And if you have to cheat a little to get a better image go for it; a chair from the back doesn't look nice, push it aside.

Have a look at this website to give you an idea: http://www.interiorpictures.com/residential.html

Good luck.

as for the orginal poster try centering things, larger pictures, better font color

A good start but needs work

I should have checked out more of your site; the images from the "Buckhead Condo" are much better and do give a better idea about your wife's vision.

Like Oracle12345 mentioned make them larger.

And leave a phone number :)

contact info is always helpful especially if this is for a business. A website should be a like book-everything should flow, at eye level, easy to read and view.

Back on topic PLEASE. ;)

Guys, great comments. Think you are right on point. I know nothing about designing a website, just did the best I could. But now I need to take another look at it and incorporate your ideas for my wife. I'm a real estate guy and not a web designer.

Great comments.
