Detroit blew it. They just kept making stupid moves. Pittsburgh took advantage when they could and the score showed it. I am pretty sure play should have been stopped right before one of Pits goals because of icing, but I'm not bitter...that's how the game is played.

no, i'm sure you're joined by all the fair-weather, front runner "fans" who come out of the closet when the team is good, and slink away and nearly let the team be moved out their town, (what 5 times in the last decade?), because they're money/support is nowhere to be found unless the team has the two best playes in the league (lemieux/jagr, crysby/frankenstein).
absolutely the worst fan base in professional sports.

letting that team win the cup is just another reason to hate detriot for me.

you have no idea. i actually left game 4 of the flyers/pens series after they let crysby slam into biron and allowed the goal. i guess killing off the equivalent of an entire extra game shorthanded, like the flyers had to this year, and all the absurd calls eventually take a toll. no surprise pgh won watching them get away w/ 80 penalties a game. i guess bettman has to try to promote the league he's helped to wreck somehow. enjoy the parade, i know you'll have plenty of space
