I tried this thing out a week ago and I've racked up 69 friends since then! This is an amazing tool for re-connecting with old friends and keeping up with current ones.

It somehow analyzes your location, email list, high school info. and some other things and brings up a surprisingly accurate list of people that you know.

It's also a really easy way to share photos.

Oh, and it's great for moms and dads to keep up with their kids online activities...

Anyone else here on there?

I like it too. At first I thought MySpace was better, but once you get your list of friends going, there's much more you can do with Facebook.

I tried it but stopped after a bit because I wasn't interested in some kids cradle cap or a sandwhich that had been sent to someone in Cali....then there are the security problems...

I block most applications and don't use Internet Explorer (a security risk by any measure). I also have a few friends who tend to froth at the mouth a bit, so I've blocked their postings. Facebook is pretty flexible that way.

I am on Facebook but find the discussion unfocused. It has its place and purpose.

My son is in a Facebook network that is only open to people with a special interest. I believe we could establish a Facebook MB or Diesel network. You would have to be in that network to join it.
