WHERE TO GET GOOD STUFF IN FOSHAN CHINA

Well I am currently holed up in a very nice hotel here in Foshan China for the weekend. Anyone here know the good places to go shopping? Looking for basic things but cheap!!!! Come on, this is China, this is where everything is made!

I can't tell you where to shop but I can tell you what to buy.
My nephew in law went to China last year and bought a bunch of wristbands and stuff made of Jade I think. He got a real nice pipe for his dad. He bought the stuff for a couple of dollars and sold them for no less than $50 each.

You want cheap stuff? You're in the right country. You are sure to find all manner of ripoffs and copies that look good but are of incredibly poor materials and workmanship. Look around for good stuff - never mind "cheap".

That's old school. Radioactive is the new direction for Chinese manufacturing...

Well, I have been working in the garment production industry for the past five years. Though, in Central America, this is my first trip, with a new company that I joined last year, to China. So when it comes to materials and poor workmanship, I can pick that up off of clothes, purses, shoes, and even some electronics, at least from the outside of the the electronics.....

So in that aspect, I am not too worried. But, truth be told, over the weekend, I was at an EXCELLENT hotel in Foshan. So I spent the time by the pool reading and drinking beer and being served like the Emperor himself! So I did not leave the hotel.

But now, just got into Shenzhen, and well from what I see, there is lots to purchase around here! At least from what I see on the internet. When I get a moment, I will go out and see.

Believe it or not, I tried to get the cable to get my phone connected to the computer and could not drum one up in Foshan. And the computer that I have, though even a year old, does not have bluetooth. So I cannot download the pics.... So I may just get the bluetooth USB thingy, supposadly here I can find it and cheap.

We will see what I find!!!!!

Thanks and Regards,

Iggy

If you want cheap stuff from Foshan go back to the States and shop at Wal Mart.
