Hummer H2

I've been driving an '05 Hummer H2 the last few days -- decent shape with 45k miles.

That said, it's a total piece of shi t. Rattles like an old wagon, slow, terrible handling for a truck, wheel arches are rusting, interior looks cheap and rattles. GM deserves to be where it is now.

Ya, in our bloody pockets for a bailout.

The H2 is a mix of 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton running gear. It probably feels like a 3/4 ton pickup in driving feel.

one of my favorite panels:

no offense of course......

Hummer

I'm still waiting for Hummer #1. My wife says she doesn't do such things.:cool::cool:

I feel sorry for you already...I had to drive one a few times and hid myself at all times while in the drivers seat....

What did you do to deserve this punishment?

(If you want a good laugh, grab the center counsel and report back to us with how far you can move it back and forth :D)

The Swede 07-16-2009 07:55 PM

I drove it around because it has gas and my S600 is near empty, plus I don't want to the miles on my car. I'm trying to sell it so...

and so easy on the gas. :D

(about 10 mpg? )

(what were the chinese thinking? - even they make mistakes?)

The Swede 07-16-2009 08:02 PM

I'll bum around in it for a while, then it's off to the bodyshop to repair the rust spots. :P

I like Yukon/Denali/'Burbs/'Scalades pretty well, but the H2 is so pointless.

t walgamuth 07-16-2009 08:55 PM

indeed it is. the h1 was developed for a specific purpose. Although totally impractical for civilian use I like the purposful look of it. Rivets!

The H2 and 3 are poseurs through and through. Built for an aesthetic reason (see above cartoon) and unredeeming gas hogs.

PaulC 07-16-2009 09:10 PM

The H3 is actually a reasonably good off-road vehicle. The H2? Bleh...never did a thing for me.

Hatterasguy 07-16-2009 09:35 PM

The H2 is a joke, unless your .50 or a .50 wannabe you shouldn't own one.

Gurkha 07-16-2009 09:55 PM

Send it to India, plenty of gullible macho fools willing to pay the bucks for it, GM made good cash here with the Hummer H2.

iwrock 07-16-2009 10:06 PM

He, I kinda like them.... ;)
