My wife and I went to the movies last night and saw 'Hangover'... pretty decent movie, funny in some spots but the most interesting thing was the gorgeous classic Mercedes Benz that their 'Daddy' lets them drive to Vegas.

I could not tell what model it was - looked like 280?? can't tell from the fine lines of the car like many of you can... Anyway, the car was just gorgeous - smoke silver coupe.

These idiots end up destroying it in the movie (not completely) but giving it a pretty good beating.... The car even gets T-boned by an Escalade going at a pretty good clip with a bunch of Chinese raging lunatics inside and still lets them drive home to LA afterwards... true Benz.

The movie has lots of profanity but it has some very funny spots too - and of course, the car was was a beaut.

I didn't intend to see the movie, but after seeing a nice MB creamed in the preview, I 100% decided not to see the movie.

I see this movie was already discussed... again - one lovely, lovely machine. Somebody had identified it as W111 Cabriolet - very rare. I believe it... especially in that shape.
