mercedes as a tow car

I never thought of towing anything with my 300SD's, but somebody did:

According to AP: Two men accused in the bludgeoning death of a housemate were unable to lift the victim's body into a car to take it elsewhere. Instead, West Texas authorities say the men tied the corpse to the back of a car and dragged it for nearly four miles.
Authorities on Tuesday are working to confirm the victim's name. Lamb County Sheriff Gary Maddox says he was hit in the face numerous times with different objects and was dead before his ankles were bound with an air pressure hose. Maddox says his corpse was tied to the back of a 1984 Mercedez Benz and dragged.
Accused in the deaths are Mickey Dale Birchfield, who's 51, and 53-year-old Bradford Stanley Halderman. Both remain in the Lamb County Jail. Information about and attorneys wasn't available Tuesday.

I pulled a 1988 Buick LeSabre with my 1981 300D for a few miles. Could hardly tell it was back there.

Good thing it was not a 220D. The corpse would have rotted before they got up to speed.

I smell a CSI episode coming to light....I can't believe in Texas there is a jail called Lamb County.

The clothing worn by the victim could greatly impact the fiction with the pavement making acceleration even more difficult.

No! It wasn't...

A "TRUE" Mob murder would have had the body in the trunk...not tied up behind the trunk...

Big difference!

The one is discrete...

The other one is just plain wrong...

This is one of those Mob-wanna-bees kind of things..."The Gang That Couldn't Drag Straight" - even that sounds a bit messed up in a homophobic kinda' way...

Guido: "Yep! We're outta' here!"

Yah...Mob-torture works for me too!

I wouldn't have used an airhose - the abrasions from the pavement will cut them... that's what I heard anyways
