music in other languages?

Does anyone listen to music in another language? I was listening to a friends CD and there was a song from a girl from Mexico singing in spanish. I didnt understand a thing but the song was great. I never thought I would like a song in another language. Does anyone else here listen to music in another language sometimes?

Well, maybe with a slight twist to what your wrote. Bought a J Buffett clasic CD in Mexico and the majority of the songs he sings in Spanish. Sorty creepy but if you listen to it enough you will learn the words in Spanish. You can always freak out your friends at the waterhole and sing Margarittaville in Spanish. Luftballons by Nina is always a good one to sing when the DIY on the Benz isn't going well as opposed to sailor language

Top Spanish rock!

"Eres Tu" (Mocedades) Soaring in Spanish, Eurovision winner, 1973:

"Reconquistarte", incredibly romantic tune sung by Marcos Llunas

"Tu duermes con mi amor" = you sleep with my love

Top Peruvian Singer Gian Marco rocks:

***♥""PERÚ""♥***

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CoA_WOv3Av8

sings, "Te extrañaré"

Era tu mirada tierna
La que me entregaba
La tibieza dulce de la madrugada
No estaba seguro
Si era un sueño o no
Era como si lloviera
En un desierto arido
Desafiando al miedo
Que existe en el corazón

Tus labios temblaban junto
Junto con los mios
Nuestros corazones no sentian frio
No estaba seguro
Si era un sueño o no
Era como un sueño
De una noche de verano
Era como un cuento
Que antes nadie lo leyó

[Coro]
Te extrañaré cuando te vayas
Te extrañaré cuando no estés
Quien va creer lo que he vivido
Si ni yo lo puedo creer
Te extrañaré cuando te vayas
Te extrañaré cuando no estés
Reviviré los buenos tiempos
En una hoja de papel

Es dificil continuar
Haciendo melodias
Ya no puedo hacer
Las mismas poesias
Que escribia solo
En la intimidad
Ayer estuve observando
las calles vacias
Ayer pasé por tu balcón
Y no te veia

[Coro] x2

I get your point, but in fact I have already heard rap in Norwegian, German, Chinese, French and Spanish.

I personally don't even consider it "music" but the fact is, many people all over the world, DO.

I love opera. Since I can understand some french, I can pick out bits and pieces from Carmon.

Back when I had Sirius (pre XM) they had a french (Canadian?) music channel that was entirely french spoken. I loved it and the music was really good.
