Finally Bought a New Camera!!!

Just bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 today, for my trip to Las Vegas later this week. The only downside is that it is a display model, but it seems to be just like new. I will try and post some pictures from my trip, and the future MRS.

Have a good trip. I'm looking at the Canon D50 right now and haven't decided, after years of using Nikon it's hard to "go over to the other side."

My Girlfriend has a Canon DSLR of some kind, and it takes very good pictures. She doesn't want to take it, so that is why I bought the Panasonic. So far it has taken a few good pictures, alot better than my Nikon Coolpix 2500

I got the Black one, I just cleaned all the sticky goo that was left on the camera, and the screen.

The Lumix cameras are awesome. I intend to get one when I have more $$....my sister has one, and my friend has an older one. They're made in Japan and built solid.

On the Lumix, while it is a "point & shoot" . . . not having a provision for an external flash might be a deal breaker.
