If morons stop bringing them to Obama rallies as a political statement, I'll get one.

BTW what scope should I get:

Zeiss
http://www.zeiss.com/c1256bcf0020be5f/Contents-Frame/ca204e4aa6dc6a3385256e40005ae3e8

Or Nightforce?
http://www.nightforceoptics.com/

If I can't get the HK417, I'm going with the LWRC REPR. Both with be 7.62 with heavy long 20in barrels, so I'm going to need some decent optics.

I tend to lean toward Zeiss because of their superior precision optics.
NF seems to be excellent choice as well based on professional reviews.

First I would opt for the Zeiss but not the conquest series they are good but not any better than a Nikon or any other mid-grade scope Cabela's guide series are the best for the money IMO.

Sell everything you own and get a Zeiss Tactical.

Those are like $3k! I'll have to start out with a more reasonble scope...this isn't an Accuracy International or Sako.

Hoping to spend under a G note for the scope. Since I already have a $700 Aimpoint CompM4 picked out for the Sig.

Get a Nikon Tactical under most conditions you won't me able to tell the difference...especially if your scope is spray painted.

How much are you spending on the G36?

Yeah he said you were going to buy the Bushmaster. I was surprised because I thought you had a better AR.

If he wants to bring the G36 down into the mortal price bracket I'll bite. I'm going to sit tight and wait for the 417. A member over on HK Pro thats a member of the Finnish special forces has had great luck with the 416.
