Like I said, I disagree with his politics. but he handled that Town Meeting with good grace--while the people whose political bent is closer to mine, behaved rather poorly.

MS- are you sure you're a conservative? According to what I read on this forum conservatives are only able to follow their ideology blindly without any regard for facts or reality. I agree with you though- Frank did handle his business very well regardless of the fact that he is a degenerate thief. A fact is a fact and a spade is a spade. If only more people would be honest with themselves we could accomplish great things (again).

I have been called a "liberal" because I support individual rights over group rights. I don't know, maybe I'm not really a conservative. Maybe I'm a "rational Conservative", o....

The nutjob does not know he or she is a nutjob. If it were a handful of people with actual tin foil hats, that would be one thing. But this thing and the misinformation around it is in raging brush-fire mode.

Even Jon Stewart, spokesdude for the young and hip, remarked upon seeing Bush respond to one lady early on in this story with his line, "We don't have enough people in the federal govt. to be sending someone to everyone's house . . ." : "Uh, Mr. President, I'm not sure dry wit is what is called for here." Obama had said it in a sort of mocking way and Stewart said his line in his imitation 'Woody Allen feeling naseous' voice that he does so well.

Sarcasm and flippancy don't work well with one's opponents, methinks. I'm not saying that BHO or Frank should let the deathers with their Hitler comparisons dominate the debate but an elected leader is called upon to be an explainer here and there. Telling someone they are a loon, basically, misses a chance to explain.

When BHO was talking sorta mockingly about the deathers at his NH town hall event, people were giggling in the audience. I thought, uh-oh - grist for the righties' mill. Sure enough, Glenn Beck replayed that footage on his show and said, with great solemnity something like, "well I certainly don't thing that's cause for laughing."

Giving Glenn Beck a good line is not something BHO needs to do.

Yeppers, You can always tell when Dear Leader is off the Teleprompter.

I am surprised that his puppetmasters keep letting him do that.
