College textbook thread...
I have been saving a heck of a lot of money by shopping online.
If I purchased all the required text's from the campus book store it would be $887.56!  Right now I am up to $130 for three classes.  I'm hoping to get the books for the other 2 for under $200. Those are pricey books, no way around that. But thats still good, I'll save $550.

Yeah, feeling the pain right now...
I am taking 17 units the semester (senior year, woohoo), and so far the bill for textbooks is up to about $610. Sucks, as this year 2 of the classes are using new editions, so there are no used textbooks availible.

I have been told by a person who was educated in Germany, that German universities do not use textbooks. Can anyone confirm that?

I'm borrowing 2 books this semester, I haven't even looked yet on the others

got all of them used from the campus book store for $150...
