Changing Lanes Midstream
During the Middle Ages in England, it was decreed that the king's soldiers ride on the left side of a road. Most were right-handed, so the left side allowed them the use of their right hands to defend an attack from those who would most likely be approaching from the opposite side of the road. Now, Samoa has appearently seen the light:

Six of one, half dozen of the other. One doesn't make any more sense than the other to me. Now the highways without speed limits - that I like!
