I would suggest turning down any head hunter calls which originate from Papua, New Guinea or other remote Pacific Islands. I believe they use the expression a little differently in those parts. Pretty literal folks actually.

Yeah, I would be very suspicious if they ask about the size of your head...

I have gotten the same type of call

It is a scam to get you to pay a fee for being "listed" with the firm plus they want SS info , etc.

It is part of a ID Theft ring that has been under investigation by the Feds for a few months.

Previous versions were Refinance info, Forclosure prevention and now Head Hunting.

Do what I did-give them your Ex Wife's new husbands data!

Very vague--references to a job that came across his desk and might suit me. Good money, reporting to principles only, chance to grow, etc.

Sounds like a prospecting call to me. Although there is a chance he might get my name thru word-of-mouth. I have a good reputation in my field.

Should I call back?
Take five minutes and call, what's the harm?

Not many of 'em still eat long pig these days. Most of 'em prefer Spam.
