Mercedes Benz Insurance?

I just got a letter in the mail yesterday from Mercedes Benz Insurance, asking me to call them for a quote. Anyone have any experience with them? Are they directly owned by MB? It sure looks that way from the letter.

Rgds,
Chris W.

Looked to me like Liberty Mutual had bought a list from them (MB).

Yes - FCIP (First Class Insurance Program) is a product of Liberty Mutual.

Got the same thing. THey were offering free towing to the dealership as well as 24hour roadside assistance w/ the paid premium. Don't we already get that as owners?

Not sure about the towing the the free roadside certainly applies to 1-800-For-Merc

Unless the car is under warranty 1-800- Mercedes will only cover a battery jump and gas if you run out.

AAA is cheap coverage, even the extended towing...and the discounts for us non-AARPers aren't too bad either.

They do not cover gray market so the conversation was short.

I got that too, I considered it, but my insurance is already so cheap I doubt they could have saved me anything.

Liberty Mutual is no bargain. I have had Safeco (home) for 10 years. Liberty bought them last year and promptly raised my premium 20% for no reason.
