Thanks for the links....thats damn impressive, is that the unimog test course of a separate truck test course?
(Funny, you can also see the Mercedes safety truck in that video) |
Nice, I wonder if you can put a real dump truck body on it? :D

I doubt that he'll be giving up that Unimog anytime soon..... |
Nifty! Mogs are all over the place in our favorite vacation spot -- Garmisch, Germany. Anytime we're there during snow season, we'll invariably be passed by one on one of the many switchback trails leading up to the guest houses in the mountains. They're the only realistic way to get supplies up and down. You can hear them coming from quite a ways off; the chains on the tires make them sound like tanks rumbling and creaking down the mountainside! My wife laughs, as I always have a huge grin on my face as they pass, and sigh "mmmm... diesel."

That reminds me of playing Operation Flashpoint.... nothing scares an infantry guy on the ground more then that sound of squeaking tanks treads barring down on you from the distance.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63e3doxIiCU (Turn up volume for full effect) |
