Stupid kids

On Friday my brothers bike was stolen right from our driveway... He had gone inside to get some water before going back to go play baseball... Two minutes and some kid stole it!

He was upset about it but not like in tears.. he is 13 lol. So I said you wont see if today if the kid is somewhat smart but later in the week he will get gutsy and ride it.

Sure enough two days later I spot the kid on it while driving back home from the store.. I mash the go pedal and catch up to him and say

"nice bike, where did you get it?"

he said "wal mart"

I drove off because I have seen the same bike but wasnt sure so I called my brother and got the specifics.. Sure enough the other yellow mongoose bike I had seen a few months ago had spokes and not a 5 spoke throwing star style.

So I head back out in the SDL and drive around for like 10 minutes before I spot him like 1/4 mile away going on a right turn.. I floor it to catch up with him (no one is out on the road) so I dont miss him ducking between houses again and like pull in front and block him.

I ask again

"nice bike, where did you get it?"

he said, looking at the ground " I found it"

very well.. I am taking it back since it belongs to my brother, not you. And proceeded to tell him that if he keeps on stealing other peoples things he will end up in prison.. ha.

I did find out that a bike will fit perfectly in my back seat as well. Soon as I got home I whipped out the dremel and etched his name and address on it. should have done that when he got the bike but I didnt have a dremel then.

In conclusion.. No one steals from TheDon

To do it right you should have had three other guys get out with suits and sunglasses and have a little talk with the kid about property.

When my kids were young we bought them nice bikes these things cost $300 a piece, and one day they came up missing out of our garage. We asked around and nobody knew anything. So I seeked out the neighborhood snitch, this kids knew who had taken the bikes, so I paid him $20 and he took me to the house where the bike were. I talked to the boys Dad and we got the bikes back and that boy got his whipped for stealing.

We live in an allegedly nice area, but the last few years, we've lost 3 bikes, my neighbor across the street has gotten her car broken into 3x, 2 of our cars have been broken into once, multiple acts of petty vandalism, it's sickening.
This is where we live, FYI

Damnit thats my fantasy

Sadly though my car couldn't pull it off as well as a W126/W140/W463 with properly tinted rear windows

Then The Don would have had to replace the urine-and-feces-stained bicycle seat!

My bike was stolen a bout a month ago. 2 weeks ago I was driving home from work there is a kid riding my bike. 5 miles away from where it was stolen. I slammed on the breaks got out of the car and said that’s my bike, the kid just looks at me, I say would you like me to call the cops? He said no, I took the bike put it in the trunk and drove home. It is a 1987 Diamond Back with Sky Way mags.

He's lucky that the kid didn't drop down a couple of gears and accelerate away...

I thought the story was going to have a twist! .....................

I did find out that a bike will fit perfectly in my back seat as well. Soon as I got home my brother is riding his bike and announced to me that he forgot he parked it at the neighbors.
