longshot post - any farmers on the board

Hi all. I need a tool ID for a farm tool.
Here is the tool:

I'm going to be using it in a sculpture similar to this one:

I sold that one and someone wants one like it. I make my sculptures with found objects, and I found one of these. I need one with tines like the one in the far upper right of the tool picture. Since I can't find one I figured I'll buy it, but I don't know what it's called to search for it.
Anyone know what it's called? TIA

Now that's funny.

It's for breaking ground, but I don't have any idea what it's called.

Been along time since the farm days, I remember fondly though, but that is what we call in the ghetto(CamdenNJ) a hoe.

There may be a more definitive name, but that is it. This would be one of a number of these attachments on a rear tiller of sorts.

That's a tine cultivator, used to run down between the rows of crops.

Hey dude let me check, when the wife and I mover to KY 13 years ago we bought and old building that use to be a print shop and an antique store. We were printers and anitique dealers so the fit was great, anyways the antique part of the building had many farm empliments. I will look around and see what I can find.

Thanks all. I tried hoe, came up too many results, most of which didn't have tines. The hard part when it comes to searching seems to be the flat, leaf shaped end

That would be awesome, thanks!

I feel like I'm on that show, what was it, Liars club? where they would bring in things and the three people would tell various stories as to what it was. Contestant had to guess which story was correct.

Depending on the size of the blades (I’m guessing they are about 2” or so wide across the face.), it’s a #6 Spring Tooth Cultivator.

That one looks to be part of a set that was mounted to a crossbar that then attached to the drawbar (or possibly a belly rack) of the tractor. (I’d have to see the other side of the apex to be sure.)

You may wish to slap it on eBay as: “Old tractor implement - cultivator” before you destroy it. You might surprise yourself with what some of that stuff goes for to collectors looking for just the right implement.
I have a ’47 Farmall Cub that I purchased a few implements for. None were found cheap.

Just a thought.

The longer ones are about 9" or so. I don't want to get rid of it, I just want ones with the more arrowhead shaped end.

I remember my grandfather had a three tine tiller which was mounted on a wheel with handles so you could walk through your garden and till the sweet corn.

I did not, thanks. I haven't really used ebay. 6 days is a bit longer than I wanted to wait, but beggars can't be choosers.
