Wesley Cheeks-This ain't America no mo
Anyone else hear the audio of this jackass telling a protester he can't have his protest sign with a picture of Obama as the joker? I hope everyone on both sides realizes this is Fascism. I'm sure more details will come out, but from what I hear this is a blatant violation of the first amendment.

Sounds like one idiot officer if you ask me. The man was being polite but firm. How else would you like him to act?

Hail Obama and Glory to Rahm Emanuel !!!

Ah! couldn't see from the video that he was a renta-cop, so he would not be "sworn law enforcement". The question of a school administration's authority to restrict the rights of students would seem not to apply with the non-school public use of these public places! It would seem that the security personnel employed by a school administration would not have any authority to restrict the rights of citizens assembling on public property that does not endanger or disrupt the education of students! |

I don't know why people are calling these men boneheads. They both sound calm and rational to me. Officer Cheeks seemed to be operating under orders not to permit signs with pictures. I believe that he is employed by the school board, although I might be mistaken about that. Does anyone know why a school board would have such a rule?
