I dunno. I think the guy's a tad bit smarter than his detractors carry on about. His book, "R. Limbaugh is a big fat idiot" is actually pretty well written, but I don't imagine you'll ever know that for certain.

I wonder how many Rr Senators could draw a map like that. Even if they practiced for the next year.

Here's a clip of him on Letterman, early in both of 'em's career where he draws the lower 48 in less than 2 minutes.

Yeah, wasn't he on for one of Letterman's "Stupid Human Tricks" sketches? There's a name for someone with a talent like that that:

n., idiot savant
An intellectually disabled person who exhibits extraordinary ability in a highly specialized area, such as mathematics or music.

Didn't take you long to post after catching Olberman tonight!

Right. Al Franken is "intellectually disabled." Good luck pitching that one.

Same here.

That's true, which is one reason I really like him. He drives GOP types crazy.

Please stop saying that. He did no such thing.

You disagree with two unanimous rulings? The first panel was made up of three judges; one appointed by a Republican, one by a Democrat, and one by an Independent.

The second unanimous ruling was handed down by a five judge panel consisting of three Republicans.

By steal, I am assuming you mean he had less votes than his competitor but somehow miraculously ended up in office.

Well it turns out Franken had more votes. I'm not sure how one can consider that 'stealing' the election.

I like Olbermann's show, and apparently you do too. He can be a wanker but the material is good.

As for Franken, oh well, dude doesn't take himself too seriously like many I could think of on this board and in the hallowed halls of gubmint.

Republicans are very bad winners. They're even worse losers.

RUH-ROH!! I forgot the link! DOhhhh!

I know it was a great disappointment for many of you.

Here's one that has a short bit of the Letterman clip:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxeu3Qr2ytY

Here's the longer original, from Letterman's show in '87 - check out how young Paul Schaeffer looks:

And while we're on this important topic, here's a vid of the world champion in freehand circle drawing:
