Maybe white people should stop fleeing when black people are near. And stop devaluing property because they can see black people from their porch.

Shoot, I grew up on the west side, moved to STL 25 years ago. My parents tell me that they don't go into Western Hills anymore, they don't feel safe. They drive out to Harrison OH or into Northern KY to shop and do things.

Call it bigotry on their part, call it anything you like, but they don't like thugs and they choose to spend their dollars where they feel safe. They also don't particularly like the hillbillies who go to GravelRama, so they avoid that crowd too, and those folks are lily-white.

Unsafe to be in that neighborhood (Now known as the Merrill Hood) at any time of day or night. Even the cops won't go there alone nowadays. They always send 2 cars.
