In the wife's academic times, she did something on Organ Donation. Seems like the Chinese would KNOW when they can get what organs, etc, etc. So no, I doubt they would waste him like that. IIRC, if they needed a heart, they would probably strangle you or something like that. Something that would leave the desired organ in usable state.

However, it is interesting that after decades of fearing and loathing Red China, the new China, with its blend of capitalism and communism, is looking more and more likely to one day eat our lunch and dinner.
Also, you have that problem of power being corrupting and absolute power being absolutely corrupting. No matter how good you start off, eventually everybody becomes corrupted by power.

Which is our current situation. Right now, the Reps were corrupted. Switch to the Dems who are good. Sooner or later, they too get corrupted and the Reps look good. Cycle continues.

judging by the content of your many posts over the last year, i can't see why you would have a problem with this type of organ "donation".

you're not getting soft on us, are you?

is your all-knowing, contrarian persona becoming even a bit tiresome to even yourself?

i would imagine you could come up with some strategy for self reliance that would allow you to escape, wherein you and your organs would remain whole - while we weak sniveling bellyachers would of course be the only ones to have our lives and organs taken (forcefully) by the state.

pull yourself up by your bootstraps.

Did I say that I had a problem with it?

Not at all. Yours, OTOH, is.

Is it worth it to me? When I am dead, I could care less.

I have and am still doing that. What of it?
