If you decide she's going to Cleveland Clinic, you know you have a home here. The CLK suite is waiting for you, as long as you need it. Fugi misses you! (We do too.)

My thoughts are with you. There is no way to avoid this being a trying time. There has been a mention of alternative therapies – I’d add that about the only thing I’ve seen that isn’t debunked in one way or another is this Dr Johanna Budwig diet
Please – I’m not touting this or anything, but I’m having my own issues and with out a lot to do have been toying with this

It is bad to go through something like this with anyone, but especially your own child. I am really sorry that you are going through this. I hope and pray that you all can find the right people to beat this cancer and that your daughter will have a long and happy life. Let us know how things a going.

UPDATE: Kristen has stage 1 stomach cancer, the Doctors said that the cancer is very treatable. We think that all the lithium the Docs have been giving her for the last 8 years has something to do with it.

I can't imagine the strength you and your wife are summoning to even ponder your daughter's situation. I just found this thread and am very glad to see that it is stage 1 and very treatable.
We simply handle what we have to I guess, but talk is cheap coming from somebody without that frame of reference.
I'll be holding the good thought, just like so many others......

Kristen has cancerous polyps in her stomach. The Doctor is going to remove them in two weeks. So all is good in Clkman Land. Let me preach for a minute if I may. The Lord said He wouldn't put anyone through more than they can handle. Can I get a AMEN on that one? BTW I would like to thank everyone who cared. Now I can get back to being my goofy self.

If it means anything coming from a un-repenting heathen, I'll give you that "AMEN"!

Best wishes and glad to hear things are looking up.
