OPTI-4 SAE 30 4-Cycle Engine Lubricant

anyone here have any knowledge of, or currently using this oil. Im thinking about putting this in my generator and the riding mower. The company states that it will double the engine warranty if used since new.

Think about this for a second...

Did the manufacturer of the generator and the riding mower write on the oil package that THEY would double the warranty, or is it the oil package that says the generator and riding mower manufacturer will double the warranty?

Unless I have it in writing, FROM the generator and riding mower people that using the OPTI-4 SAE 30 4-Cycle Engine Lubricant, EXCLUSIVELY, will double my warranty with their products, I'll stick with the stuff the books, that came with the generator and riding mower, tell me to use.

(And I won't be paying a premium price for the oil vs. the regular stuff...unless I'm using MOBIL1... )

( BTW: I'd stay away from New York and that place in Arizona that has the London Bridge near it...I hear those things "...go on sale..." quite a bit...too many owners for my tastes!!! )

after hours of oil research online at a huge oil site, your right. about 99% of the guys running 15+ horsepower vtwin riding mowers are using a HDEO oil. Since in my Diesels I run Rotella Syn 5w-40, and have plenty, I will use that.

seems to be a different story for the smaller, one lunger engines and need to do more research on that for my generator and pressure washer..

I run Delo 400 on everything I have and that includes my 2.8KVA HONDA Kerosene genset which I use when I am in India. Its eleven years old, single cylinder and till now, it has not required any overhaul. It has run in 45C weather for 12 hours straight, runs on almost daily basis here for the summer months and till now, the compression and performance hasn't deteriorated, a fitting testament to the best value in the oil market thats Delo 400 followed by Delvac Super.
