It isn't widely known that VW's had a 5th wheel trailering option, just like the big pick-ups.... 8-)

Turns out the one in the movie was not from the original Meyers molds or imitators but was a variation. Only one more body was made before a fire destroyed the shop in question, or so it says on the web.

It's minor, but I like the Thomas Crown version a good bit better than the Meyers, which follows:
