I tried something new today

Any of you guys ever get involved with BNI, the business networking organization? I was invited to one of their meetings this morning and was surprised by the intensity, but also the friendliness of their members. It seems like a great way to build a new business through referrals. I had never heard of it before.

In the right group it can be your sole source of business, in the wrong group its a waste of coffee.

I suspected that might be the case. I will try a couple more chapters' meetings and see what they are like. Do you participate in BNI, Medmech?

Am I in BNI, yes, do I participate...NO.

I guess it may be better now that most mortgage bankers have left the business but it was clogged 2 years ago and I never harvested anything that I couldn't get on my own. The people that benefit the most are niche businesses, residence hotels, anyone that needs to buy something.
