Anyone want to buy my house?

Add number is 165177 if the link doesn't work.

I'm going to try this FSBO thing, as a former agent it kind of pisses me off. But when I think of saving the commision money I get over it.:D Plus it gets put on the MLS, and I'll offer a co broke. Not a bad deal for $600 if it works.

If it doesn't I get to own it until spring!:D

Cute little colonial no? I like that blueprint a lot, its big but not to big. I'm going to build one for myself in a couple of years. The only change is I'm going to add a 2 car garage off to the side.

No! Come on whats not to like about it!:D

Anyway, anyone ever have any luck FSBO'ing on that site?

KarTek 10-02-2009 09:09 PM

Wow, that's high! My 3000 sq. ft and 5 acres here is probably only worth a shade over 200k...

SwampYankee 10-02-2009 09:15 PM

quiet street
area beaches
reasonably priced

;)

Good luck with the sale, Hat!

Hard to find a brand new condo for that here.

What is 2point2 baths? Two bathrooms and a sink?

Hatterasguy 10-02-2009 10:06 PM

2.2 baths is how you describe two full and two half baths. If you only have one half bath its 2.5, if you have three its 2.3 etc.

This is the least expensive new house in the city, and its in a really good area. Their are so few sales in that neighborhood that its hard to find comps. One house sold down the street about a year ago, and another just closed for $340kish. But it was a 1960's build two bedroom, 1.5 bath ranch. Nice house though, and on a pretty lot.

Wow, people sure waste their money out there. That house would be 1/3 that price around here. Personally I'd rather have an older home that's not made out of plastic and glue.

You could get a 3,500 square foot house on 5-10 acres around here for less than that!

cmbdiesel 10-02-2009 10:15 PM

Whose going to pony up for the landscaping? ;)

Good luck with the sale. BTW, new home sales are up, although still lower than last year, but possibly the corner is being turned....

http://historicproperties.com/results.asp I like to poke around on this site and look at the houses. The way it is going I will be older than some of them by the time I have saved up for one.

Welcome to Fairfield county Connecticut ;)

When I left DC, that would've been about 600K in Vienna (VA), which someone would've bought to tear down.
