Need a photoshoppers help. Help choosing rims?
Well, here goes... I came across a deal on some 17" rims for my neon, and well, I dont like them at all. I'm looking for something more understated, with cheaper tire options. I found two OEM rim styles that I like, and was wandering if anyone could photoshop them onto my car...
Heres the picture with the 17"s on it http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v644/NathanEbert/Picture005.jpg (dont judge me, it's not been properly waxed for months, or washed in 2 weeks) I was wandering if I could have the following rims photoshopped into the car, plz? These are BBS rims off a jetta, and are 16x6.5 with correct offset and bolt pattern http://car-part.com/images/interchange/W69736.gif These are off a grand am, and are 15x6, with correct specs for the car http://car-part.com/images/interchange/W6026.gif These are what I have also as an upgrade from the steelies it came with. 14x5.5 http://car-part.com/images/interchange/W2083.gif Feel free to give honest opinions on what you feel looks best. I want understated, but unique... Thanks for the help. ~Nate

I like the BBS wheels off the Jetta, but 16" might still be a bit too big for that vehicle.
The W126 and the E38 both look good in 16" but they are much bigger vehicles. |

That car has to at least be worth enough to sell and get a decent Mercedes with proper wheels. You do realize your driving the lowest quality and lowest resale value car the Americans have put out in the last 15 years.

If it were me I wouldnt go bigger than 15's. That is a small car and looks pretty bad with bigger rims. Plus neons are slow enough without needing additional rotating mass Out of all of those the ones off the Grand Am look good to me. Those 14x5.5s are probably pretty feather light if they're alloys.

The "bubble" wheels won't look as large as seen in the picture. I had to make them a little bigger to cover the existing wheel.
In the end, I vote for the BBS.

Thanks guys. I'm trying to get the weight info of the BBS wheels off a jetta forum, but they're more interested in asking why I want to put them on a neon then giving me the weight info...
I'm not getting rid of it. I like it, it gets good fuel milage, cleans up well, easy/cheap to fix, and I enjoy picking on the local import crowd with it (faster then most N/A's 4cylinders around here). It's not stock, but I don't brag about bolt ons. ~Nate
