Hummer to Be Sold....

and to none other than the Chinese! Hummer has always been junk anway, and we all know about Chinese products. So this sounds like the perfect move. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091009/ap_on_bi_ge/us_hummer_sale

its not the real HMMV, just the POS from GM based on PU and SUV's they really just want the dealer network to bring in low cost chicom cars

If the Chinese offer a lead paint option, will it be safer in an "axis of evil" nuclear attack?

Financial terms were not disclosed, although a person briefed on the deal said the sale price was around $150 million. The person did not want to be identified because the terms were being kept private. GM's bankruptcy filing last summer said that the brand with military roots could bring in $500 million or more.

Oh, that's good. Real good estimation. Maybe that is why they are in bankruptcy.

Didn't hummer only sell like 156 vehicles in a couple of the quarters this year? That's less than some of the high end Italian brands!

Best part of this sale is that if you come across and ego-rich Hummer driver you can tell them "that is a Chinese piece of ####"
