Fintail dream

Friday night we went camping.

In the middle of the night I dreamed that I was in an old fintail driving somewhere with an unspecified male friend. I was cruising happily along when I noticed a detail on the dash which was different than my car. I know it was a fintail because certain parts of the dash were actually made from plywood with veneer that matched the rest of the car (like the glove box door).

Whooooaaaaahhh! I was driving someone elses car by accident...then I heard snoring and I looked in the back seat and the owner was asleep in the back....Yikes! When he woke up he would for sure think I had stolen his car....

Just then he started waking up and I said to him that I had mixed his car up with mine and would take him back to where I found it and trade cars with him immediately.....

...and then I woke up and had to go to the bathroom.

I chuckled quietly to myself because usually you cannot remember dreams once you wake up and since this one involved a fintail I would have to write here about it.

I imagine all budding potential car thieves visualise there future occupations in some manner. When the economy is down somewhat a latent desire for a career change is very understandable.

You get to drive what you like at much reduced rates as well I suppose. At least a dream fintail may have no issues pending to wonder about. Try to remember to fill the car up if there are any form of reocurring dreams of this type. Dream fuel is priced right in my opinion. Or if the car needs new tires for example have them changed out.

Typical of twists our subconcious minds seem to trigger once in a blue moon. I never can or suspect there really is any underlying reason for somewhat bizzare dreams. They just randomly occur.

I always liked the barber pole speedometer and surrounding indicators. Plus the shifting lever next to the steering wheel was nice. Those cars seemed to me the last models really with a maximum build effort by the employees of the company. So it was a tasteful dream as well.

Perhaps the heavy turkey dinner we had today might trigger a dream for me. They are very infrequent now or as you say at least the ones I remember. Thanks for sharing.

Well it was a relief from the old stand by getting caught outside without any clothes on dream that I have had since the beginning of dreams!

common among thespians; they call it "the actor's nightmare"

dreams are about hopes and fears. and working those things out, slowly.
very healthy. anyone who doesn't have odd dreams is either lying, or severely repressed. or possibly just a simpleton.

Yes, I once fell asleep behind the wheel of my '57 Chevy at a drive in movie. I don't remember exactly what I dreamed about. All of a sudden, my girlfriend picked her head up from my "lap" and caught me sleeping through it all. I still haven't lived that one down yet....
