I recently purchased 4 3 ton Hein Warner jackstands made in St. Louis. The cost was higher but I didn't care. Sears, Autozone, Napa and others are selling the chicom crap.

Yep....I try to buy USA stuff but for some things it is hard to find....and, I'm poor, so it is difficult to afford some things USA vs. Chinese. (the price is often as much as 4-5x as much for USA made)

Its our greed thats fueling their rubbish. Many Chinese I have talked to in China aren't happy either as their country's perception is that of a big garbage maker. Greed has overtaken both sides and rules for now. The fact that Chinese are capable of some real quality stuff as well is truly negated by this disrepute.
