However, it was interesting. It obliterated that Microwave. In barely 4 seconds.

Great shot they got of the foil covered door while the airbag was exploding. I guess a aiming a webcam at it from behind some plexiglass was too high budget for them.

Not quite ready for prime time.

Idiots. What they think was going to happen if they put an explosive charge in a microwave? Off course its going to set off immediately. Is a long wooden stick out of their budget too?

what kind of explosive charge is there?

C4 would not have the same effect.

Airbags come as a complete electrical unit, it was likely the current created in the wires that set it off.

Almost a Darwin Award winner. Too bad--the gene pool does not need these geniuses.

When I worked in a bodyshop, we set off a driver's side airbag with a 9 volt battery and some wires...put it face down on the concrete floor and touched it off with the battery...damn near hit the ceiling, and the ceilings were probably 15 or more feet high. Made a hell of a racket too. Not something I'd want doing off in a space as small as a microwave.

There’s a lot worse things these guys could be doing at that age.

I’d rather me and (all) the kids have these guys (Though perhaps not the brightest bulbs in the sockets.) to watch doing all the things you know we’ve all thought about.

Besides - Adam and Jamie had to start somewhere.
I can see either doing the same crazy stuff at that age.

30 minutes to airborne !!
“Punk’n Drop’n” with the kiddos this morning!!

The weekend after Halloween is the annual Pumpkin Drop over at Faultline Flyers in Briggs. Tow to 1000 ft AGL in the 2-33, line up on the big bulls eye target limed out in the middle of the grass strip, GiB pushes the door open and heaves the punkin out at the right time.

The absolute safest place to be is in the center of the bulls eye.
