My Friend Tammy is doing a concert with her new band "Pretty Babies" Halloween night in NYC. It is a FREE CONCERT!

And, as that night happens to be Halloween, feel at liberty to arrive in your brightest, pinkest, most angular, mini-skirted, skinny-tied, tight-panted Murjani new-wave wear, and sing along to classic classics such as "One Way Or Another," "Hanging On the Telephone" and the pop-disco anthemic classic, "Heart Of Glass."
The Pretty Babies is an alt-rockergirl supergroup, featuring Mony "The Falconess" Falcone (Sit 'N' Spin, BIG) on bass; Bibi Farber (The Richard Lloyd Group, The Ventilators) on keyboards; Heidi Leib (Sit 'n" Spin, the Lonesome Prairie Dogs) on lead guitar; Linda Pitmon (Steve Wynn's Miracle 3, The Baseball Project & The Minus 5) on drums; Jill Richmond (The Aquanettas, The Mean Reds) on rhythm guitar; and platinum chanteuse/provocateuse, Tammy Faye Starlite, on lead vocals.
A glorious pop-punky-glitter ball- Studio 54-meets-CBGB's night of late '70's decadent delirium awaits. Sunday girls lurk fetchingly around the chronometric corner.

If you know of the right bar to book them into, let me know. I am booking them for a gig in NJ in December and want to start promoting them. Tammy is a friend and I am trying to get her new band some attention

There's a couple of places in town that do it. The Haunt is one that comes to mind.

Sadly I am completely unaffiliated with them

Tempted to go up to NYC though for a Halloween adventure

yes actually some are single, but Tammy is taken...

Let me know if there are places to play in your area, I might convince them to go out West for a tour! Tammy usually does the East Coast and as far west as Austin,Tx...

We've got places to play, and a decent local scene (that I'm not knowledgeable on) Wouldn't be cheap to fly out, and there would need to be promotions. Are they above the bar band crowd? If not, it's a very very large concentration of bars in a collage town. I'm sure they could find a place to play.

Wouldn't make sense to come all this way IMHO, but I will be there if they would be anywhere in Wisconsin for an evening or something.

For now, COME ON GUYS! GET DOWN THE SHOW NEXT SATURDAY!

I want to see a healthy contingent of the Mid Atlantic troops there...

Have you ever noticed how high the traffic is on this site during happy hour, or after 10 pm? You could get yourself in a '84 240 that only needs paint for what a bar tab + cab home would cost!
