Is it just me, or does "Top Gear" kinda suck?
 

I used to really like it, back when they thoughtfully reviewed cars and put them through their paces...but lately the show seems quite pointless for the most part.

Case in point: driving scooters through Vietnam, one painted American-flag-style, wrecking caravans left and right, etc.

I'm sure this type of humor is funny to the low-brow demographic, but I miss the spotlight sections of vintage race machines.

There was a low point after Hammond's crash but that has long since passed. Check out the Commie Car segment if you don't believe me :cool:

I recommend not watching it on BBC America. They switch the original music to crap and cut a lot of things out to make room for commercials.

Best car show I have ever seen, I love Topgear!

I like it but not when they freakin' race big rigs and stupid stuff like that. Plus Clarkson has no idea what he's talking about most of the time, funny as he is.

I seriously wondered about the music when I noticed that the theme song is now some horrible bastardized version of the original Allman Brothers song (Jessica, I think) that they used to use

Actually they've always used that theme song....the old Top Gear used the original version while the new Top Gear has an updated version of the song. Here's an old clip to prove my point (yes yes the audio isn't exactly 100%)
