how does 120M doses of vaccine become 14M?
So who or what is the reason that we have been told right up to the delivery date that all of the N1H1 vaccine was going to be distributed and then told again it was late and a shortfall of an order of magnitude? How could it get so far behind and not be known? I have not seen much mention or reasons behind the colossal schedule miss from any of the news agencies.

Well I am not positive but consider what I heard. The countries like us actually producing the vaccine are taking care of their own populations first. This combines with not meeting production levels would do it. I think we have all we need now. So the balance of your needs should arrive soon.

I just thought it was funny that it went all the way to the dates is was to be dispersed before they saids, oops, production problems. I would have thought at least one media organization would cry foul

Your "supply" issue reached our media about a week or so ago. Plus the claimed causes of it.

Glaxo flu vaccine production lags By Miriam Hill The Philadelphia Inquirer Publication: Philadelphia Inquirer (Pennsylvania) Date: Thursday, July 23 2009 You are viewing page 1 Jul. 23-- GlaxoSmithKline P.L.C. yesterday said it expects to be able to fill government orders for swine-flu vaccines by early 2010, but the company's chief executive said production was going slower than hoped. Vaccines are notoriously difficult to produce because they are made with living

as of 2 weeks ago the schools were planning distribution now, this week they said it would be december. I had not seen much coverage so I asked. it still seems to me that communication sorely lagged real information and expectation were set on predictions that were not informed. December is not going to do much good, but I guess the trickle in will hit the high risk groups
